Astrology can come to life in SO many ways. One of my favorites is working with the Planetary Days. It’s pretty simple - each day of the week is ruled by one of the planets or luminaries, giving each day a certain je ne sais quoi. Tapping into the energy of each day, as dictated by its ruler, and leveraging it for your schedule is a major astro-life hack. I’ve mostly used it to create more structure and routine in my work as a self-employed person, which is great and all (I mean, it is one of the tools I’ve seen impact my client’s lives the most) BUT there are far less girl boss-y ways to interact with this system. Also, using the Planetary Days to set up your work schedule isn’t realistic or applicable for everyone, but you know what is? Using them to build a personal system of self-care. Hellooooooooo 2024 glow-up!
This year, more than ever, I’m witnessing so many people around me desiring to commit to their self-care. We loveeeee to see it! BUT, I also know how hard it is in this world of CONSTANT input to unplug for 20 minutes let alone set intentional time aside for yourself on a daily or even weekly basis. When you add to the equation the guilt and shame we serve ourselves when we miss (insert unreasonable self-care goal), something that was meant to bring joys does quite the opposite.
