You’ve probably been feeling the buildup alllll weekend but the Scorpio Full Moon officially arrived at 10:55am MST on Monday, May 12th. The vibes are all about what we need to do demolition on in our lives. Scorpio sits opposite Taurus, and as many astrologers say, this is the axis of Life and Death, of the beautiful flower blossoming above ground and the subterranean, dark and complex root system supporting it below ground. Scorpio teaches us that death is a door to birth and this is for sure ALWAYS a theme of Scorpio Full Moon, but this one has some extra surprises.
This Full Moon is not messing around. We have been sent a no-nonsense demolition crew to our metaphorical houses. I’m talking FULL DEMO DAY energy with a crew that means business. Walls coming down. Floors being ripped up. The foundation itself being examined for cracks. When you remove the layers of old drywall that have been covering up your authentic self, you might be surprised at the original architecture underneath. With this moon at 22° Scorpio (hanging out in the third decan of Scorpio where Venus and the Moon adds their influence), this Full Moon is inviting you to uncover the parts of yourself that are worthy of love and security and get rid of the thing (job, relationship, ideology) holding you back from that truth.
And with Uranus just four degrees away from the Sun in Taurus, opposite the Scorpio Moon, I’m fulling expecting some sort of surprise - a little gem or crumb or flash that reveals something shocking and illuminating. The vibe is, you thouuuught that was just an ordinary wall you were knocking down but you just discovered a hidden trunk full of unexpected wisdom, keys you didn’t know you needed, and hidden truths. And you know what else is in this surprise trunk? The reminder that this demolition is REQUIRED to create space for something truer and more aligned with who you're becoming. TL;DR: if it's blocking the renovation of your authentic life, it has to go.
With Saturn and the North Node currently creating a powerful conjunction in Pisces during this Full Moon, what we do under this lunation not only has long term implications into our future, it ties back into a cycle that began in 2023 when Saturn very first moved into Pisces. Since then, you've been learning that boundaries move, change and dissolve, like a shoreline, a beach, or a riverbank. And at this moment, there is something making itself loud and present that you have picked-up along this Piscean journey that’s GOTTA GO. Especially with Saturn moving into Aries verrry soon, May 24th to be exact. This Full Moon is a major opportunity to clear out any debris before Saturn moves outta Pisces.
Not to mention the Scorpio Moon is applying to a supportive trine with Saturn - think of this aspect as magickal scaffolding that keeps you from completely falling apart when the walls come down. Saturn is here as the project manager, reassuring you every step of the way, allowing you to look directly at what needs addressing without being overwhelmed by it.
With this team at play, this isn't just a random demolition. It's the perfect bridge between where you've been and where you're headed. The hidden trunk you're finding behind those walls contains exactly what you'll need for your next phase.

In honor of this transformative Full Moon and Scorpio's sacred ability to shed what no longer serves, I'm offering a mini sale this week on my scorpionic snake jewelry collection. These pieces aren't just beautiful—they're cosmic protection tools for your personal demolition and rebirth process.
The first photo above, The Protector, was created during a powerful Mars in Capricorn transit and has been imbued with serious protection magick and a specialized protection sigil I designed. The second photo, Transmute/Transform Earrings (there is a necklace too!) is crafted from actual snake shed I discovered in Northern New Mexico, carefully preserved and cast in bronze—a literal embodiment of the death/rebirth cycle Scorpio represents. It was made at a critical 29° moment last year and supports the wearer in their own alchemical process of sheding.
All are 20% off all week long—no code needed. Think of them as magical talismans to support your renovation process and honor what you're shedding to make space for what's next. Shop here.
We gotta see what the ruler of the moon is doing for even more insight into this powerhouse lunation. Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, is currently heating things up in fierce Leo, making a harmonious trine to Venus in unapologetic Aries. This creates a passionate backdrop to our demolition project - it's like having both a vivacious, action-oriented contractor (Mars) and a bold, pioneering designer (Venus) working together in perfect sync on your renovation. This aspect helps ensure that what emerges from your demolition isn't just functional but authentically YOU and aligned with your authentic desires. Think of it as a permission slip to be both ruthless AND loving in what you choose to remove from your life.
🧨 SCORPIO FULL MOON RITUALS & TAROR SPREAD⚔️
Every good renovation project needs the right tools, and these rituals are yours! We will be feeling this astrology ALLLLL week, so feel free to come back to these anytime this week for support.
Dynamite Visualization 🧨
After reviewing, writing down or just acknowledging the insights that have emerged under this Scorpio Full Moon, particularly anything you've discovered that no longer serves you, find somewhere comfortable to sit.
Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, grounding yourself by visualizing roots extending from your body into the center of the earth with each exhale. Feel yourself becoming stable and secure, supported by the earth beneath you.
In your mind's eye, picture a big, beautiful rose blooming before you. Notice what color it is, the quality of it. Take it in and feel strong, grounded and protected by its presence.
Now imagine a pile of demolition debris in front of you, all the things you've discovered during that have GOT to go. These might be limiting beliefs, outdated patterns, relationships that have run their course, parts of yourself you've outgrown, that job that is holding you back - whatever it may be. One by one, gather up these pieces of debris and place them into the center of the rose. As you add each item, name it specifically: "This is my fear of being seen," "This is the belief that I'm not worthy of love," "This is the mask I wear to please others."
After you've placed all the debris into the rose, picture a cartoon-style bomb or stick of dynamite (make it as dramatic and silly as you like!) Light the fuse and toss it into the rose containing all your debris. Watch the countdown, perhaps even counting aloud "3...2...1..." and then—BOOM! Watch it explode in spectacular fashion. Don't hold back on the sound effects! Make it as loud and satisfying as possible.
As the explosion subsides, state with conviction: "I demolish what no longer serves me! I release these outdated structures! I make space for my authentic self to emerge! So mote it be!"
Notice how you feel after this demolition - lighter, clearer, more spacious perhaps? Remember, this visualization is always available to you whenever you discover something that needs to go.
Cord Cutting Bath ⚔️
So this Full Moon is sooo prime for bath magick (which y’all knooow I looove) but it’s also such an ideal time for cord cutting! If you are unfamiliar, this is a powerful way to release energetic cords that tie you to old versions of yourself, relationships or situations that no longer resonate, limited beliefs, or really anything that is no longer serving you. There are many different approaches to this but the method I use the most and have had deep success with is a meditative visualization.
If doing this in the bathtub, run your bath with plenty of salt for grounding and cleansing. Ensure that you have either a salt scrub or some sort of clay mask on your bathtub ledge, we will use it later. Dry brush yourself, visualizing that you are shedding what is no longer serving you. Speak your intentions into the water that you will be using this vessel for cord cutting, thank the water spirits for their assistance. Bonus points if you have a cord cutting oil on hand that you can add a few drops of to you water.
Once you get in the tub, close your eyes and imagine yourself on the balcony of a theater looking down at a stage. You may ask any guides or ancestors who have your highest good in mind to be present with you here. Take notice of who has shown up to support you.
Ask the person/situation/old version of self/narrative you need to cut the cord with to come to the stage. Visualize the cords between the two of you. What are they made of? What color are they? Examine them with curiosity.
After you have spent all the time you would like witnessing and examining the cords, ask for assistance in cutting these cords from one of the guides or ancestors who has been on the balcony with you. Whoever first comes to mind for you is the perfect assistant. Ask them to sever your cords with unconditional love.
Watch your cords disappear after they have been cut by your assistant. Where the cords were connected in your body, fill them with love and abundance. You can visualize flowers blooming into the holes and healing them, call in something that represents light for you. If doing this in the bath, use your clay or scrub to “fill” the holes on your physical body, this is a really great bridge into the physical world for this meditation.
As you fill in the holes state aloud: “I am free from all ties, cords, karmic commitments and bonds to (fill in the name of what/who you cut the cords from) in all timelines.” You may tell whatever was on stage that they/it are free to go at this time and that you are now both living in sovereignty from one another. Thank your guide for their assistance.
Sending you lots of love as you explore your subterranean and identify what’s GOTTA goooo. If you are seeking extra support in this season, I still have some spots open for May readings. Book here! Xoxo, Lily
