There's no season like Gemini season to remind us of the weight of our words or gives us a chance to tap into the levity of them to cast spells. It's called SPELLING for a reason, after all.
This year's New Moon occurs at 6° Gemini on Monday, May 26th at 9:02pm MST, the first decan of the sign (new to decans? more here) which is co-ruled by Mercury and Jupiter - who both happen to be in Gemini. In fact, we're in the last stretch of experiencing our Gassy Daddy, Jupiter, in the sign of the Twins.
I've been thinking a lot this Gemini season about the importance of oral tradition and how written language has always been filtered through patriarchal structures.
