This Week in the Stars 7.29.24 - 8.4.24: A New Moon, Venus in Virgo AND Mercury RX

I missed y’all last week but i’m back with a juicy weekly update. We’re officially in LEO SEASON and if you haven’t check out my Leo Season Guide, I encourage you to! Leo is a sign that gets so over stereotyped, so I was excited to share a deep dive on the archetype and smash some of the limited views we hold on the Lion. Plus there are a guided meditations I recorded for you, a bit of glamour magick and plants to work with this season.

The main action happens at the end of the week (on Sunday, August 4th) when we welcome a trifecta of cosmic events: a New Moon in Leo, Venus moving into Virgo and Mercury stationing Retrograde. While the New Moon offers fresh beginnings, Mercury Retrograde might seem to pump the brakes. But don't be fooled - although Mercury Retrograde may be everyone's favorite scapegoat, this perceived backspin offers more than just convenient excuses for tech troubles. We often shorten Mercury Retrograde to Mercury Rx - the same abbreviation used for prescriptions. This coincidence points to the inherent medicine and salve that this transit has the potential to offer. As I’ve shared before, in general planetary retrogrades are all about RE words. It’s in the RE that the medicine of this time period lies.
