This week's forecast looks different than uje - with SO.MUCH.GOING.ON this week (see list of transits below) I've been chasing my ass a bit. BUT, in honor of today's meeting of Neptune and Mercury in Aries for the first time in our lives and how many trippy downloads it's triggering, I wanna share some of the Neptunian stew I've found myself sitting in this week. For me, this conjunction handed me the permission slip I needed to finally articulate all the Spiritual Bullshit™ that Neptune in Pisces has deluded my life with since 2011. I've been deeply contemplating the rise, whitewashing, and commodification of spirituality while Neptune was in Pisces from 2011 until very recently - March 30th to be exact. Whether it's Neptune in Aries conjunct Mercury handing me the mic to finally talk to about my ride on the psychedelic merry-go-round that we have been on the last 14 years or Saturn conjunct the North Node in Pisces encouraging some boundaries around spirituality, I find myself wading through the swamp of Neptune and remembering just how much Spiritual Bullshit™ I've endured, tried, and navigated.

From the first time a hippy in the park gifted me palo santo in late 2011 to more recent encounters (including an ex-boyfriend telling me he met my ancestors while doing DMT and that we must have "5D children" together - I really wish I was making this up), I've seen alooooot. From white shamans who have no answer to my concerns to appropriation to light language workers who disrupted my entire psychic defense system, when I reflect back, I’m somewhat overwhelmed with the maze I’ve navigated. As I reflect on it all this week, some of the recalls causing me to fell like there is a small dog sitting on my chest, I'm filled with both empathy and compassion for my younger self navigating the post-consumer spiritual realm.

Underlying it all is gratitude for the fact that by swimming through a metric tonne of Spiritual Bullshit™ and bypassing and manipulation I ultimately found my path as an astrologer and witch by decolonizing my own spirituality to the best of my ability—finding my way through this weird, delusional portal of Etsy witches and $120 blessed plastic bottles of water. I've noticed this week many folks discussing how white people co-opting spirituality creates prime conditions for spiritual bypassing and manipulation. I share all this to invite you to reflect on your own journey through the past 14 years and the rabbit holes you may have fallen down—from 5D Starseeds to appropriative shamanism practices and everything in between.
