RE: Mercury RetroSHADE - This Week in the Stars 8.26.24 - 9.1.24
Mercury Retrograde may be over, but let's talk retroSHADE. Plus, Pluto in Cap ONE LAST TIME. 💃🏼
I have good news and bad news. I’m a good news first kinda gal so we will lead with: Mercury is stationing direct (aka no longer retrograde) on Wednesday, August 28th (its planetary day nonetheless)! The bad news is it will still be in what we consider “retroshade” or “shadow period” - which means Mercury is still retracing its steps back to the degree it was when it went retrograde on August 5th. SO, the themes that have been coming up for you are still gonna be hanging around like that one party guest who doesn't get the hint to leave. This lasts until September 11th, when Mercury finally lands back at 4° Virgo. The good news issss, this is the part of the story where we "resolve" what came up during retrograde. Think of it as putting a big, fat, cutesy bow on your retrograde story. All this to say, don't expect your retrograde experiences to suddenly vanish on Wednesday, August 28th.
We have some major planetary ingresses this week (ingress = when planet moves into a new sign). Firstly, Venus, the planet of beauty, value and aesthetics moves into its airy home of Libra. Very, very, VERY cutesy, charming and ready to flirt with anything that has a pulse. Check out what house is ruled by Libra to see where you will be getting a Venusian boost of harmony + reception. Secondly, we have Pluto, the planet of death, transformation and subterranean re-entering Capricorn for the LAST TIME IN OUR LIFETIMES. Talk about putting a bow on something…the Capricorn part of your chart is finally wrapping up the narrative of transformation it began back in 2008. This transit has been all about transforming structures + authority. It’s been absolutely major for the U.S. as a whole, as it is our nation’s Pluto return. It's time for the final act in this cosmic drama.
