Wow, idk about you but that New Moon in Taurus truly resurrected me. 2025 has been off to a slow start for many reasons (i’m looking at your back-to-back-to-back retrogrades coupled with eclipses 👀) and I can’t lie, Aries season really fcked me up. I fully surrendered to the mud, as it felt the only viable option. No need to reminisce, but I’m really feeling like this year has fi.nal.ly turned a corner and I’m alive, alert, awake and ready to create. (include something about a renewed sense of security and inspiration) How are YOU? What is alive for you after the New Moon? Feel free to share in the comments.
As I write this to you, Venus is a few days away from leaving both her Piscean palace and her captor of criticism, Saturn. Now Venus-Saturn can bring about some really great things like - commitment, structure or discipline to our creativity or relationships. But, buuuuut, when these two link up it can really throw a cake at self-confidence, putting insecurities on blast and serenading us with negative self talk through the speakers 80’s movie style. And we’ve been under this critical influence since mid-April.
But that all changes this week when she moves back into Aries, where she was recently retrograde as you may recall. This is gonna be great for many reasons, but getting out from under Saturn is gonna have the confidence re-entering your aura as you unapologetically claim your desires. And this couldn't come at a better moment - just in time for Beltane! We also have Venus meeting up with Neptune at 0° Aries for the first time in 165 years and Pluto is going retrograde this week… Before we dive into allll that, let’s talk about the Moon (swoon).

Let’s Get Lunar 🌒🌓
The Moon is waxing all week, growing from her tender crescent phase before finally entering her first quarter on Sunday. This part of the lunar cycle brings a very specific energy that I want to unpack for you.
This phase is receptive af and carries sensitive, baby deer energy growth vibes. It's perfect for gently putting yourself out there, sharing vulnerable parts of yourself, and re-emerging after a period of introspection. If you have yet to set your "new moon" intentions, you still have time - this week offers fertile soil for planting seeds of growth.
Like a tender sprout just emerging, the waxing crescent asks us to nurture our goals with patience. Don't force growth - instead, give gentle attention to what's starting to take form. Small, steady steps are the move right now, staying flexible about how your intentions might unfold.
What makes this week especially juicy is how this gentle lunar energy contrasts with Venus stomping into warrior-mode in Aries. This creates a beautiful dynamic where the moon's gentle nurturing supports the fiery seedlings of what you're boldly claiming for yourself. It's about knowing when to push forward with Aries courage and when to nurture with crescent moon patience.
Finding your balance between these seemingly contradictory energies will be your cosmic sweet spot this week. Let yourself wobble like that baby deer while still honoring your inner fire. Sometimes finding our new legs means taking it slow and trusting the process, even while the flame of desire burns bright within.
