This week we have one of the sparkliest, yummiest, most promising New Moons of the year. BUT it’s laced with Saturn’s discernment. Which actually can be quite helpful and wonderful in moving the needle on our ambitions. Full guide to the New Moon, complete with several rituals can be found here. We’re also moving into the part of Gemini season that is filled to the brim with Saturn squares. In astrology, a square is when two planets link up in a tight 90-degree angle, creating friction, tension and a need for action. It's an undeniably confronting, harsh vibe but also one of the most productive aspects if we are willing to put in the work. The Saturn squares this week may bring to light boundaries we are facing or need to create, and where we may be bumping into limitations. I personally love Saturn transits, even when they are hard, they are SO helpful. Ultimately Saturn is just in cahoots with our success. If you’re a Saturn stan like me, then you my friend might love my new “Saturn is my Daddy” hats.
This week we also have Mars, the planet of action and God of war, moving into slow-and-steady Taurus. After moving through his fiery home of Aries, where Mars pushed forward projects and provided motivation (and maybe burned some of us out a bit), he will now be reminding us of the power of working at our OWN pace. Quickly after moving in Taurus, Mars will square subterranean Pluto, perhaps kicking up some of the murkiness from the bottom of our fishponds. Keep reading for the full deep-dive on the week!
